La Barbiera is always my first port of call when I need razors. I recently bought a Leaf Thorn SE razor and rather than start snapping my other blades (also bought here) - Astra Platinum Plus for my Edwin Jagger and Gillette Blue Silver(Silver Blue?) for my Merkur Futur - I wanted something pre-cut. These are my first Perma-Sharp. I'd read good reviews about them... and the reviews are absolutely right! The Thorn came with blades included. They were ok, but the perma-sharp blades are definitely sharper and glide easily through stubble.

Comfortable shave
Though not the sharpest blade out there, the Perma Sharp provides a smooth comfortable shave. On my sensitive skin I found it irritation-free and gave at least a DFS over 3 passes and touch-up.
Habitually, I change blades after every 4 shaves and the Perma Sharp showed no discernible drop-off in performance throughout; I could probably have pushed it further. At the time of this review, at a cost of £5 per hundred blades, this works out at just over a penny per shave - which is quite remarkable.
Lastly, but by no means least, the service from La Barbiera was excellent - as usual. Many thanks!

Horrible
The blades are covered in a sticky grease that takes Isopropyl to clean it off.
If I had known what they were like I would have bought an alternative brand.
I have to say it’s not La Barberia’s fault but the blades are grim and sticky.
David.

Smooth Sharp Blades
Bought these after reading a few reviews. There are currently in my Leaf Twig razor, they are a very smooth sharp blade, with no chattering, giving a bbs shave in a very mild razor.
