Lord Silver Star Super Stainless Double Edge Razor Blades

Lord Silver star blades my first time using these absolutely recommend them as Paul says a hidden gem, treat yourself!!

I worked my way through my stash of these blades, and wanted some more. They are, for me, everything that a good blade should be (YMMV), and as usual, the best source is La Barbiera, whose service and speed of delivery are first-rate.

Good selection of D E Blades at good prices. Prompt delivery always

Been using Silver Star blades for about 5 years now. Occasionally I like to experiment with other blades, but so far I haven't found anything that delivers a better balance of sharpness, smoothness and durability. In recent years they've gotten harder to source for some reason, but La Barbiera always seems to have them in, and at a good price.

Back in July when I started DE shaving I ordered three different tucks of blades to test some different brands in addition to the Amazon own brand ones that my daughter bought me along with an Amazon own brand safety razor, Astra Superior Platinum, Derby Premium and Lord Silver Star Super Stainless. Having now tried a couple of all four types I've found that the Silver Stars are the best performing for me (it has to be said though that the Astras were a close second followed closely again in third by the Derbys) so I've just ordered 100 of them. These blades are a hidden gem in my humble opinion. As with my previous purchases from Paul at La Barberia the dispatch time was really quick and the prices are the most competitive out there, highly recommended!
