Lord Silver Star Super Stainless Double Edge Razor Blades

Back in July when I started DE shaving I ordered three different tucks of blades to test some different brands in addition to the Amazon own brand ones that my daughter bought me along with an Amazon own brand safety razor, Astra Superior Platinum, Derby Premium and Lord Silver Star Super Stainless. Having now tried a couple of all four types I've found that the Silver Stars are the best performing for me (it has to be said though that the Astras were a close second followed closely again in third by the Derbys) so I've just ordered 100 of them. These blades are a hidden gem in my humble opinion. As with my previous purchases from Paul at La Barberia the dispatch time was really quick and the prices are the most competitive out there, highly recommended!

I've started DE Shaving about four weeks ago after approx 35 years of doing a mixture of electric and cartridge shaving (my daughter bought me a gift set from Amazon containing a safety razor and 20 Amazon own brand blades which are ok but I'm now at the point where I'm ready to try some different blades). I have to say that La Barberia have a fantastic range of blades at the most competitive prices with free P and P in the Uk so I've bought a few different tucks of blades to try them after reading some reviews. I'll certainly be back here ordering again, great service, price and dispatch-highly recommended!

I like to use a blade once for a three pass shave and bin it, even the more expensive blades I do, it just feels more hygienic to me. These are in my opinion the best lower priced blades , they have brilliant quality inspection standards unlike some other budget blades, all lord blades are good but these are very good imo

Wow these blades are brilliant value for the money.
They deliver a cracking smooth shave for at least 5 uses.
