Razor Blades - Age Restricted Products and New Shipping Terms

As many of you might be aware from various internet forums, the type of razor blades that we sell have been classified as "Bladed Articles" (1) for a while now. With the recent changes by Royal Mail to ban these products in the postal system (2), unless sent via an Age Verified Service (AVS), it is no longer sustainable to carry on with our free shipping model.

We've tried our best to keep our prices as low as possible as we believe in good value, however we can no longer sustain it, and be legally compliant.  To top this, we have had multiple Royal Mail price increases, which we have not passed onto customers.

We have decided to do a "plus postage" service, with free delivery on orders over £50.  You will notice though that our base product prices have come down a lot, which means it is still possible to get some amazing prices even when you do factor in the shipping, especially if you frequently order multiple items.

In a similar way, we have introduced a tiered discount structure and mostly removed the variation to aid this.  So for example, you may see a pack of razor blades at £0.99 but this can be discounted to £0.50 for 20 packs.

Example Shipping price is £2.99 for RM Tracked 48, and £4.99 for an order containing razor blades.
