Packed in an eco friendly card box, we've sourced product ingredients to keep it vegan friendly and only uses sustainably sourced palm oil.

Nice soap

I thought I would try this soap especially as it's at a great price. I normally use Proraso white products all bought from La Barbiera I must add. It's good too try out a different soap just for something different and I must say this is a nice soap. The puck sits nice and snug in my soap mug and with my boar brush soaked in warm water a rich soapy lather is whipped up in no time and it goes a long way for a 3 pass shave and I can see this lasting a while for a decent number of shaves. The puck size, quality and price of this soap is a must buy. La Barbiera continues to deliver a great service which is second to none for all my shaving needs with quality and price.

Good investment

After purchase razors in bulk for a good price and now the shaving soap I don't need to buy anything for shaving for a long time. I call that a good investment. I used to buy cartridge razors and it was a constant drain in my pocket. Next on my list is a tub for the soap.

Excellent shaving soap

Good thick lather and nice scent at a very good price. Plus it’s vegan/plastic free.

Lovely soap

Straight from the puck there is a really pleasing 'lemony' scent: not too strong, I would give it a 4/10. The soap lathers well, and after a 20-25 second swirl with a dampened brush there is enough for a good 3-pass shave. I did find that the scent strength on the brush fell slightly to around 3/10.
The lather is everything I would want: slick, providing plenty of glide, good cushioning; and, over the 3 passes, there was no dissipation in the soap quality. All in all a very good soap matching the performance of soaps costing considerably more.
My only 'gripe' is that there isn't a shaving bowl - at least I couldn't find one! - that this 60gm puck will fit into snuggly. I resorted to using one that was slightly bigger in diameter, grating the puck and compressing the soap into the base of the bowl so that it resembles a 'conventional' soap bowl [ e.g. TOBS or DR Harris]. However, that doesn't detract from the quality of the soap itself, so 5 stars from me.
