Having returned to DB shaving in recent years I needed to find which blades suited my skin best. Eventually I came across La Barbiera's offer of sample blades. After working through them I have been most impressed with these Bluebird and the Astra.

I used them in a Merkur HD 34c Razor , they are sharp and worked well for me , giving me a smooth clean shave

Feather alternative

Only just heard of these and thought I’d give them a try. Feel as sharp as feather blades but without the slight harshness on the first shave. Unsure how long they’ll last in comparison but a very good blade all the same.
