Lord Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades

These are perfect for my skin. I never have any nicks and they give a real close shave.

This is an excellent sharp blade. Went well in the Rockwell 6c plate 6

A good blade, quite sharp. This one wasn’t for me though, as I got slight redness and irritation around the neck area.
As with all blades it’s subjective, so may be will be great for others.

Well - I have seen and read a variety of reviews for these Lord Blades ranging from rubbish to outstanding. I guess the type of razor / soap / brush / technique / facial hair / time of day / atmospheric pressure / colour of your underpants seems to affect everyones shaving experience.

I put these into my "Safe" razor (a Baili 176) which I use if I think i might cause a nick or two with a blade.

Nope - no cuts at all. Good.

In fact rather surprising, it felt as if no cutting at all was taking place. This blade was ultra smooth, and I really mean smooth.

I performed my usual 3 pass shave - with, across and finally against the grain, and I was rewarded with a really nice shave.

I like these blades and this is my first experience with them. I am unsure how many days shaving I will get with them but to be honest if its a max of 3 days I would be happy with that just to get such a nice buttery shave. It felt really nice.

I will rotate these blades into my other razors for comparison and will eventually use my Parker 91R, which is quite aggressive (although I have shimmed it) , but I need to build up to that.

All in all - a great shave - at a great price and delivered so fast as well.
