Adjustable:- Adjustable in 6 levels, by twisting the head. Lowest setting with a small gap is least aggressive, with setting 6 being the most aggressive and should be used with caution by beginners.

I had decided to treat myself to a new DE razor to replace my 20 year old Wilkinson Sword entry level model and went for this as I liked the ability to adjust the aggression of the blade angles. It's well made and of good quality but having used it for a couple of weeks I still feel it's unbalanced. The head is far heavier than the handle which is a smooth design so the combination makes for a slightly awkward shave.

For budget DE razor it's ok , hoped it would be more aggressive than my king C but alas no not really , for a total beginner I say would be great on low setting as would be hard pushed to cut yourself, couldn't try astra green blades as we're missing in my order for some reason but had few other blades to try with it
