I'm new to shaving creams, and this one works very well for me. The "red" is suited to thicker hair. The key to ensure you lather up and rub/brush into your beard for as long as possible and at least 5 minutes so the foam can penetrate your hair and make it ready for cutting. You will have seen traditional professional barbers letting customers sit for a while with shaving foam doing its work. Each tube lasts a good while - I use it 2/3 times a week and a tube lasts about 3-4 months. The overal price here is good.

Firstly my all time favourite fragrance is sandlewood. I have used Proraso shaving cream and soap in the red sandlewood fragrance, and both work very well.However the red preshave cream has a outstanding fragrance ,just love using it.This preshave is a little gem,much better than preshave oil which I find to messy.It is aimed at a thicker growth,I'm a medium growth,but just love the fragrance. I have two badger brushes,but want to try a boar.So have ordered the three part Proraso shaveing pack in red.You must try this red preshave, stunning.
